In both cases, the researchers stressed, there was no way to know which approach better reflected students&#8217; performance.&#8221;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This is from an <a title=\"Republican and Democratic Professors Grade Differently\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.wsj.com\/ideas-market\/2011\/05\/18\/republican-and-democratic-professors-grade-differently\/\" target=\"_blank\">article<\/a> in the Wall Street Journal discussing a forthcoming article by Talia Bar and Asaf Zussman in the <em>American Economic Journal: Applied Economics<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s see, Talia Bar is at Cornell, and Asaf Zussman is at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The paper asks about American political affiliations. I <em>really<\/em> wonder which unnamed elite university <em>that<\/em> could be!<\/p>\n<p>One a related note, I know one of the Republicans at Cornell.
