I forgot to post this when I first received it. But having just submitted myself, I was reminded of this call for papers:
“Dear Fellow Economists,
The Economic Growth Center at Yale will be hosting the 2011 NEUDC (Northeast Universities Development Consortium) Conference on November 12th and 13th, 2011.
I am writing to invite you to submit a paper for this conference and also to pass the word around among your colleagues and students who may be interested. We welcome all papers that investigate topics in economic development.
The final date for submitting a paper is August 1, 2011. Only full drafts of papers will be considered. Please submit a paper with an abstract not exceeding 300 words for this September 1st deadline. We will send out notifications by late September informing people of our acceptance and rejection decisions.
Those attending the meeting will be charged a registration fee of $120 (for students there will be a special rate of $90) for early registrations. The registration will include breakfast, lunches, coffee and Saturday’s conference dinner. The speakers will have to bear their own expense for travel and accommodation.
Further details of the conference will be available from the web page at:

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at neudc2011@yale.edu“
